HANOVER, N.H.—The Big Red women's tennis team lost 6-1 to Harvard on Sunday in its final match of the ECAC Women's Tennis Team Championships. Cornell moves to 3-2 for the season.
In singles,
Leah Seyburn picked up the Big Red's point over Caroline Davis with a hard-fought 2-1 win at the No. 6 spot. Seyburn dropped her first set 6-1, before rallying to win the next two 6-2 and 10-8.
The Big Red lost the doubles point, but at the No. 2 spot,
Shayna Miller and
Elizabeth Googe defeated Samantha Rosekrans and Caroline Davis, 8-4.
Cornell will return to action next weekend as it plays host to Binghamton and Buffalo.
