ITHACA, N.Y.—The Big Red women's tennis team opened its spring season off with two wins on Saturday afternoon at the Reis Tennis Center. Cornell began the day with a 6-1 win over Siena and followed with a 7-0 shutout over Fairleigh Dickinson.

Against the Saints the Big Red won all three doubles matches to secure the point and followed with wins in singles play at positions one through five. The Big Red once again won all three doubles matches against the Knights and shutout its opponent in singles play.

Cornell will travel to Dartmouth next weekend to play at the ECAC Tennis Tournament.
