ITHACA, N.Y.—The Big Red men's polo team wrapped up its regular season with a 25-12 victory over the Maryland Polo Club on Friday night at the Oxley Equestrian Center. Cornell moves to 15-4 for the season and has won its last four matches.
The Big Red fell behind 3-1 to open the first chukker, but rallied to take a 7-6 lead. Cornell played hard in the next two chukkers to increase its lead to 22-11, and after the fourth, cruised away to a 25-12 victory.
Max Constant tallied 12 goals and Rich Weidel added eight. Bobby Harvey rounded out Cornell scoring with five goals.
The Big Red will play at the national tournament on April 4-11 in Charlottesville, Va.
