ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's and women's squash teams returned from their semester break with a combined seven matches over the weekend, going 3-4 in those matches. The men's team went 1-2, while the women's team was 2-2 on the weekend.
Both teams opened up on Friday against Trinity, ranked first on the men's side and second among the women, with the men's team losing by a 9-0 score and the women by an 8-1 margin. The men's loss to Trinity was the 208th straight victory for the Bantams.
The women's team had a split of a day on Saturday, opening up with a tough 7-2 loss to Yale before rallying in the day for a 9-0 win against Mt. Holyoke.

Rachel Wagner both scored wins against Yale before being a part of the sweep against Mt. Holyoke. The men's team dropped its single match to Yale on Saturday by a 9-0 score.
On Sunday, both teams faced off against Brown, and both teams were victorious, the women winning by a 9-0 margin and the men by a 7-2 score.
Both squads return to the road this weekend when they will face Dartmouth on Saturday at 5 p.m. and Williams on Sunday at 3 p.m.
