ITHACA, N.Y. -- Andrew Olsen's 11th-minute goal stood up and Dartmouth earned a 1-0 victory over Cornell on a frigid Saturday evening at Berman Field on Senior Day. The Big Green improved to 9-6-1 (3-3-0 Ivy) with the win, while Cornell fell to 4-8-4 (0-5-1).

Olsen blasted a redirected cross past Big Red goalkeeper Scott Brody at the 10:35 mark of the first half and the Dartmouth defense held up. Lyman Missimer only needed to make two saves in recording the shutout.

The Big Green held a narrow 11-9 advantage in shots and a 6-5 edge in corner kicks.

Brody made three saves before giving way to Rick Pflasterer in the 76th minute. Pflasterer made one brilliant save in the final 90 seconds to keep Dartmouth at bay and give the Big Red one final push at the end of the contest.

Cornell closes out the 2010 season when it visits Columbia on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.
