Cornell Women's Tennis Knocks Off Rutgers, 5-2

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's tennis team earned a hard-fought 5-2 win over Rutgers on Sunday afternoon at Reis Tennis Center. The Big Red earned the doubles point to get out to a 1-0 lead, then won in straight sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles. Cornell improved to 3-4 in dual matches this season and earned its second win in its last three matches.

The Big Red return to action on March 6 when it hosts Marquette at Reis Tennis Center at 9 a.m.
