DeLAND, Fla. -- Cornell pitchers Ali Tomlinson and Elizabeth Dalrymple allowed just two earned runs and eight hits total with each throwing complete games, but both were hard-luck losers as Stetson earned a 1-0 victory in game one and a 2-0 triumph in game two of a Tuesday doubleheader. The Big Red slipped to 10-4 with the losses.

Tomlinson started game one and didn't allow an earned run in her six innings on the mound, surrendering one hit and walking three. She struck out two. In game two, Dalrymple gave up six hits and struck out seven, but the Cornell offense was able to muster just four hits in the game and six hits total on the day.

Alyson Intihar had a hit in each game to lead the Big Red bats. Cornell hit just .120 on the day (6-of-50).
