THE MATCHUP – Cornell (11-9, 1-4) will close out the season in matches against Princeton (18-5, 5-0) and Penn (4-13, 0-5). The Big Red welcomes the Tigers to the Reis Tennis Center on Friday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m., before traveling to Philadelphia for a match vs. the Quakers at Lott Courts on Sunday, April 18 at noon.
THE SERIES VS. PRINCETON – The Big Red and Princeton first met in 1973, with the Tigers sweeping Cornell. The Tigers, who hold a substantial lead in the all-time series (27-2), went on to win every meeting until the 1995 season, when the Big Red earned the first of two straight victories.
SCOUTING THE TIGERS – The Tigers are riding an eight match winning-streak and have won 12 of their last 13 outings. Princeton is off to its best Ivy League start since 2000 and can clinch at least a share of the conference title with a victory over the Big Red and can win it outright if it sweeps the weekend. Last weekend, the Tigers defeated Harvard and Dartmouth. Against the Crimson, Princeton swept the doubles point and got singles victories in the No. 1, No. 3, No. 5, and No. 6 spots. In the victory over the Big Green, the Tigers took the doubles point and won all the singles matches except for the No.3 spot.

THE SERIES VS. PENN – Cornell and Penn first met in 1981 with the Quakers taking an 8-1 victory. Penn currently leads the series, 26-3, with all three of the Big Red's victories coming in the 1990s (1994, 1995, 1997).
SCOUTING THE QUAKERS – The Quakers are currently on a seven-match losing streak and have lost eight of their last nine outings, dating back to March 11. Last weekend Penn lost to both Dartmouth and Harvard. Against the Big Green, the Quakers managed to win only at No. 3 singles spot, before being blanked by the Crimson.
LAST TIME VS. PENN – In their last meeting, Penn slipped past Cornell, 4-3. Cornell swept the doubles point, but in the singles matches earned wins in just the No. 5 and No. 6 spots.
LAST TIME OUT FOR CORNELL – Last weekend, Cornell was swept by Yale and fell to Brown, 5-2. In the match against the Bears, the Big Red earned victories from

Leah Seyburn at the No. 5 and No. 6 spot, respectively..
