ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's tennis team wrapped up its season with a 5-2 victory over Penn this afternoon at the Reis Tennis Center in Ithaca, N.Y. The Big Red swept the doubles matches to earn the doubles point and then won the top four spots in singles action to account for the 5-2 final. Cornell's victory, coupled with Columbia's win over Princeton this afternoon, gives the Big Red a second-place finish in the Ivy League standings for the second straight year.

Currently, Cornell sits alone in second place, but could be joined by both Yale and Harvard, who play Brown and Dartmouth, respectively, on Wednesday, April 21.

The Big Red ends the season with an 18-7 record overall and a mark of 5-2 in the Ivy League.
