ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell women's squash team returned to action after a six-week layoff and dropped a 9-0 contest to second-ranked Yale on Saturday afternoon at the Belkin International Squash Courts in Ithaca. The Big Red women slipped to 1-4 on the season with the loss.
Seven of the nine matches were decided in straight sets, with only
Lauren Sachvie at No. 4 and
Jennifer Gemmell at No. 3 sending their matches to four sets.
The Big Red returns to action next weekend, heading to Toronto, Ontario, to compete in the Toronto Round Robin.
