WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The men's squash team kicked off its season in style with sweeping 9-0 victories over Middlebury on Saturday and the host team on Sunday at the Williams Round Robin.
The sixth-ranked Big Red didn't drop a single game in the 10 matches against 14th-ranked Middlebury. Junior
Nick Sachvie won both of his matches in straight sets at the No. 1 position, as did
Owen Butler (No. 6),
Bryan Keating (No. 7) and Rishi Jalen (No. 8).
The Big Red returns home to open the home portion of its schedule after the Thanksgiving holiday. Eleventh-ranked Western Ontario visits Ithaca to kick off the weekend on Friday, Dec. 2, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, Dec. 3 featuring the Ivy League opener against Columbia (11 a.m.) and 12th-ranked St. Lawrence (3 p.m.).
