Women's Squash Rolls To 9-0 Win Over Brown

ITHACA, N.Y. -- With straight-sets victories in six of the nine matches, the Cornell women's squash team breezed to a 9-0 victory over Brown on Sunday at the Belkin International Squash Courts in Ithaca. The win lifts the Big Red to 4-5 on the season.

Jaime Laird, Jennifer Gemmell, Jesse Pacheco, Maggie Remsen, Clare Berner and Kristin Scillia each won their match by a 3-0 score, with only one going the full distance, with Alexandra Glassman rallying from a two-set deficit to pick up the victory over Sophie Scherl.

The Cornell women close out their regular season on Saturday when they play host to William Smith at the Belkin Squash Courts in Ithaca.
