ITHACA, N.Y. – The Big Red men's tennis team blanked three opponents on Saturday, defeating St. Francis (N.Y.), Buffalo and Colgate, each by a score of 7-0. With its performance, Cornell improved to 15-3 on the season.

The Big Red opened the morning with a 7-0 victory over St. Francis (N.Y.). Cornell took victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, and swept the singles matches in straight sets to roll to the victory over the Terriers.

The afternoon match with Buffalo proved to be the most competitive of the day. Cornell again picked up victories at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, but the Bulls hung tough, forcing third sets at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, with the No. 6 match going 7-6, 6-4.

Cornell swept through all nine matches against Colgate, with only No. 3 singles going to three sets.

The Big Red is back in action on March 21, as it takes on Furman in Greenville, S.C. The match kicks off a four-match road trip over the Cornell spring break.
