No. 35 Yale Defeats Women’s Tennis

NEW HAVEN – The Big Red women's tennis team was blanked by No. 35 Yale this afternoon at the Cullman-Haymen Tennis Center in New Haven, Conn. With the loss, Cornell's record evened at 9-9 (1-4 Ivy), while the Bulldogs improved to 18-4 (3-1 Ivy).

The Big Red managed to win one doubles match, with Christine Ordway/Ryann Young defeating Steph Kent/Vicky Brook (8-5), but Cornell ceded the doubles point to Yale en route to the 7-0 loss.

Next weekend the Big Red will play host to Penn at the Reis Tennis Center on Friday, April 15 at 3:00 p.m., before traveling to Princeton, to face the Tigers on Sunday, April 17 at 11:00 a.m.
