No. 49 Men’s Tennis Continues to Roll, Downs Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. – The No. 49 Cornell men's tennis team won its second nail-biter in a row, defeating Dartmouth, 4-3, this evening at the Boss Tennis Center. With the win, the Big Red improves to 19-4 overall and remains undefeated in the Ivy League at 2-0. The Big Green fell to 10-5 overall (1-1 Ivy).

The Big Red picked up the doubles point with victories at No. 1 by Jonathan Jaklitsch/Evan Bernstein and at No. 3 by Mirza Klis/Ewan McElwain to take the early 1-0 lead. Cornell claimed the victory with victores in three of the six singles, including three-set thrillers by No. 1 Andy Gauthier and No. 5 Evan Bernstein.

Cornell is back in action next weekend as it plays host to Brown and Yale on Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10, respectively, at the Reis Tennis Center.
