The sixth-ranked men's squash team swept Brown, 9-0, on Sunday to wrap up a three-match weekend swing through New England. The victory improved the Big Red to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in Ivy League play.
 
Cornell rolled against the 13th-ranked Bears, winning eight of the nine matches in three sets. The victory came on the heels of losses to No. 2 Yale on Saturday, 5-4, and No. 1 Trinity on Friday, 7-2. Nick Sachvie (No. 1), Alex Domenick (No. 2), Thomas Spettigue (No. 4), Will Hartigan (No. 6), Owen Butler (No. 8) and Bryan Keating (No. 9) all won two of their three individual matches on the weekend.
 
The Big Red took a shot at ending the Bantams' historic run. Winners of the last 13 national championships and 250 consecutive matches entering Friday's clash, Trinity found itself trailing Cornell 2-1 after the opening three matches. Hartigan downed Juan Flores, 11-4, 11-5, 11-8, and Keating topped Elroy Leong, 11-8, 4-11, 11-9, 11-7. But Trinity ran the table from there to hand Cornell its first loss of the season.
 
Saturday's matchup with two-time defending Ivy League champion Yale came down to the wire. The Bulldogs took an early 3-0 lead, but needed to hold on down the stretch with a victory at the No. 7 spot to lock up the match.
 
The Big Red takes a break from league play this weekend, travelling to Clinton, N.Y. for Sunday matches against Hamilton at 10 a.m. and Bates at noon.
