Box Score NEW HAVEN, Conn. – For the second straight game, the Big Red men's soccer team battled to a scoreless draw; this time against Ivy League-leading Yale on the road.
Looking at the season numbers, the team's entered the game evenly matched as both had tallied only 11 goals thus far. The only difference was that Yale had won its previous two Ivy games by one-goal margins, while Cornell had dropped its first two Ivy contests by the same margin.
Saturday's game was only the second time this season Cornell has been outshot, as the Bulldogs finished with a 16-10 advantage.
Two of those shots came on penalty kick in the 82nd minute.

Zach Zagorski – making his first start since Sept. 21 – saved the initial penalty kick attempt by Yale's Nick Alers, and then made a second stop on Alers on a shot off the rebound.

Jake Rinow and
Benjamin Williams each recorded two shots for the Big Red.
Cornell is now 6-3-4 on the season and 0-2-1 in Ivy League play, while Yale is 3-7-1 and 2-0-1 against league opponents.
