HANOVER, N.H. -- Freshman forward Dempsey Banks scored her third goal of the season, but the women's soccer team conceded three goals in the second half to drop a 4-1 decision Saturday at Dartmouth. The Big Red finished the season 7-8-1 and 1-6 in the Ivy League.

Banks' goal came in the 20th minute, tying the score at 1 after Dartmouth got on the board with Chrissy Lozier's strike. Junior midfielder Claire MacManus drew the assist, getting the ball to Banks before she beat two defenders and sent a shot to the right of Big Green goalkeeper Tatiana Saunders.

Banks' goal gave her 12 points for the season, which ranked second behind sophomore forward Caroline Growney (15) and one ahead of classmate Elizabeth Crowell (11). It's the first time in program history the Big Red got at least 11 points from two freshmen.

Dartmouth (8-6-3, 4-3) put the game out of reach in the second half. Corey Delaney scored the winner in the 61st minute, then Lozier added her second strike of the game in the 71st. Marina Moschitto closed the scoring with less than five minutes to play.

Freshman goalkeeper Kelsey Tierney made six saves for the Big Red.
