ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior Christine Ordway, sophomore Lauren Frazier, and freshman Dena Tanenbaum each won both a singles and doubles match Saturday morning to help the women's tennis to a 6-1 victory over Albany at Reis Tennis Center. The team went on to sweep Fairleigh Dickinson, 7-0, later in the day.
 
Against Albany, Cornell secured the match's first point by sweeping the three doubles matches. Freshman Christy Kung teamed with Tanenbaum at the No. 3 position, defeating Albany's Sarah Iannone and Fran White, 8-2, for the win in Kung's first collegiate dual match.
 
The Big Red won the bottom five singles matches, all in straight sets. Tanenbaum appeared at the No. 3 spot for the first time in her career, defeating Kirsten Scott, 6-2, 7-5. Sophomore Sara Perelman cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win over White at the No. 6 position in Perelman's first dual match victory of the season.
 
Cornell (5-0) then rolled past FDU, sweeping all nine matches.
