Box Score
TAMPA, Fla. -- The South Florida pitching staff quieted Cornell's bats and earned a 5-0 victory over the Big Red on Thursday evening at USF Softball Stadium. The Big Red slipped to 8-12, while the Bulls improved to 22-10.

Jenny Edwards, Michiko McGivney, Christina Villalon, Ashleigh Rousseau and Sophie Giaquinto all had singles to make up the Big Red's five hits on the night. Alyson Onyon picked up the loss after surrendering four earned runs in 4.2 innings of work.

Ashli Goff was 3-for-4 and Nicolette Levine blasted her second home run of the year to lead the USF offense, but it was the work of the Bulls' four pitchers that made the night a successful one for the home team. Erica Nunn, Sam Greiner, Lindsey Richardson and Sarah Nevins scattered five hits and three walks and struck out 10 in handing the Big Red their fifth consecutive loss.
