Box Score BROOKLYN – The Big Red volleyball team was swept by Colgate in its final game of the Blackbird Invitational this evening in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Raiders earned the three-set victory over Cornell, 25-15, 25-17, 25-20.

The tandem of Breanna Wong and Rachel D'Epagnier led the Big Red once again with efficient hitting. Wong posted a match-high 11 kills with just four errors on 27 attempts for a .259 hitting percentage. D'Epagnier collected seven kills with just two errors on 16 attempts for a team-best .312 hitting percentage. Setter Alyssa Phelps handed out 30 assists and collected five digs, while libero Natasha Rowland tallied a match-high 14 digs.

Colgate (6-3) was led by Diane Seely with 10 kills and just one error on 22 attempts for an impressive .409 hitting percentage. Katie Reilly (eight kills), Lindsay Young (eight kills), and Kathleen Harris (seven kills), combined for 23 kills and just four errors, as the Raiders hit .348 as a team. Harris also added a team-high 10 digs, while setter Kaylee Fifer handed out 30 assists.

The Big Red wraps up its tournament schedule when it plays Pitt on Sept. 20 at 10 a.m. Later that day, Cornell will take on Morehead State at 4 p.m., before battling Rutgers the following morning at 10 a.m.
