Shannon Comolli won singles matches, but the women's tennis dropped a 5-2 decision to Brown on Sunday at Reis Tennis Center.
Brown (13-7, 2-2) started off by winning the first two doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead. Comolli then outlasted her opponent at No. 5 singles to earn a straight-set victory and tie the match at 1.
The Bears won the next three singles clashes to clinch the match. Cusick then won her No. 3 match in a third-set super tiebreaker. Freshman
Alexandra D'Ascenzo was tied with her opponent in the third set before they went to their own super tiebreaker, in which Brown prevailed.
Cornell (7-8, 0-5) will wrap up the home portion of its schedule at 2 p.m. Friday against Princeton before concluded the season at noon Sunday at Penn.
