Game One – Box Score (PDF)
Albany scored five runs in the third and fourth inning to break open a tie game en route to a 7-3 triumph in game one.

Cornell smacked five doubles off America East Pitcher of the Year candidate Brittany MacFawn, who struck out eight in the complete game victory. Taylor Goodin was 2-for-4 with one of those doubles, while both Kristan Baker and Sarah McCormack had run-scoring doubles in the first two innings. Cornell tacked on a run in the seventh but couldn't get more across.

Albany's Liz Snow was 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBI in the win, while MacFawn scattered eight Big Red hits to move to 11-5 on the season.

Game Two – Box Score (PDF)
Edwards hit an 0-1 pitch out to left center, not far from where Meg Parker hit a ball eight pitches earlier to tie the game at 7-7.

In a back-and-forth affair, Cornell needed to rally twice after taking a 2-0 first inning lead, then giving it back in the fourth before falling behind 5-2, then 7-5. In the sixth, the hero was freshman shortstop Chloe Pendergast, who smashed her third homer of the season. The three-run shot knotted the game at 5-5. Albany went back ahead 7-5 with a Liz Snow two-run homer, making her 4-for-4 for the game and 6-for-8 with three doubles and two home runs for the doubleheader.

Cornell put up two runs in the first when Sophie Giaquinto got the home run barrage started with a two-run shot after a two-out Parker walk. All eight of the Big Red's runs came from the long ball.

Alyson Onyon picked up the win, striking out eight to improve to 7-8 on the season. Parker was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two more driven in.
