MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — The men's squash team defeated Drexel, 6-3, on Sunday in the third-place match of the Hoehn Cup at Wesleyan's Rosenbaum Squash Courts.
Cornell finishes its season with a 9-9 record. The Big Red entered the wekeend ranked 10th nationally and second in the bracket for the College Squash Association's 'B' Division national championship, but it finished third in the bracket and 11th in the nation after the weekend's results. It was the second time this season the Big Red defeated the 12th-ranked Dragons, with the first occasion coming during the season-opening Cornell Round Robin in November.
Freshman
Andrew Stone got Cornell off to a quick start with a three-set victory at the No. 6 position. The Big Red then took a 2-1 lead into the second rotation on the strength of sophomore
