Jordan Winawer singled in the ninth inning.

The Pirates (1-3) scored once in the second inning, then tripled their lead in the fifth on Kyle Grimm's two-run single. Starting pitcher Zach Prendergast earned the victory with seven no-hit, shutout innings with two walks, two hit-by-pitches and six strikeouts.

Junior
Michael Byrne took the loss, working 4.1 innings. He yielded three runs — two earned — on four hits and six strikeouts. He was hindered by four walks, which led to all of Seton Hall's runs.

Sophomore
Paul Balestrieri worked the rest of the game in relief, stranding the bases loaded in the fifth and yielding just one baserunner through his final three innings of work. He struck out three.
