ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior
Aditya Jagtap was named to the All-Ivy League Team for men's squash on Friday. It's the third consecutive season Jagtap has been selected to the team, and the second time he was a unanimous nomination across the league.
The anchor atop the Big Red's lineup throughout the season, Jagtap posted a stellar 14-2 record and was ranked fourth in the nation heading into the College Squash Association's Individual Championships. He advanced as far as the quarterfinals in his first career trip to prestigious event. His only two losses in team matches this season came in a fifth game, with an injury forcing him to retire in one of them.
Jagtap ended the season on a five-match winning streak, including a sweep of his three matches at the Hoehn Cup. He wrapped up his career at Cornell with an incredible record of 53-15, with the bulk of his matches coming from the No. 1 and No. 2 positions in the lineup.
