Box Score (PDF)

HANOVER, N.H. — The women's soccer team concluded its season on Saturday evening with a 1-0 loss to Dartmouth at Burnham Field.

Dartmouth (7-10, 1-6 Ivy League) produced the goal in the 23rd minute after winning the ball in the middle third and working up the left side. The Big Green worked back toward the middle, then Bianca Ribi worked free in the middle and feathered a pass into the box into the path of Erin Kawakami's diagonal run. She finished with a shot inside the far post.

With 18 minutes to play, junior midfielder Carolyn Ruoff had a crack at a free kick from 28 yards, but it bounced just wide of the left post.

About four minutes later, Ruoff had another scoring opportunity after a strong pursuit of junior Grace Keller created a turnover deep in Dartmouth territory. Ruoff entered the right side of the 18-yard box and curled a shot toward the far post that required a touch from Dartmouth goalkeeper Mariel Gordon.

Cornell concludes its season with a 2-9-3 record overall and a 0-5-2 mark in the Ivy League.
