ITHACA, N.Y. – The women's tennis team evened its record on Friday evening with a 6-1 victory over Connecticut at Reis Tennis Center.
 
Cornell (4-4) won the bottom two doubles matches and kept rolling into singles. Though UConn (4-3) took the first singles match off court, but senior Madison Stevens sailed to win at No. 5 by dropping just two games to put the Big Red back in front. Sophomore Ananya Dua was next to win at No. 3, then senior Priyanka Shah clinced the match at No. 1.
 
Cornell returns to action at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, when it takes on Rutgers at Reis. The match is open to the public and free to attend.
