ITHACA, N.Y. -- Cornell University announced on Thursday night it would close on Friday, March 2 at 5 a.m. due to the impending storm. University closure means that all athletic events are postponed or cancelled until it reopens. That time remains TBA.
- All home games scheduled for Friday, March 2 are postponed. Rescheduled dates and times will be announced when finalized.
- Women's basketball games against Harvard (2 p.m. Saturday, March 3) and Dartmouth (2 p.m. Sunday, March 4) have been moved back a day with new start times.
- The men's lacrosse game at Albany has been moved to Sunday, March 4 at 1 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday scheduled polo matches have been cancelled.
- Sailing will not attend its three scheduled weekend sailing regattas.
- The women's tennis match against Stony Brook has been cancelled. There will be no makeup date.
- Gymnastics has pushed its Saturday home meet against Springfield back from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m..
- No road games scheduled for Friday have been affected at this time, as those teams departed prior to the storm and have arrived at their destinations.
