ITHACA, N.Y. - The Cornell men's polo team rebounded this weekend, picking up an 18-15 victory over Gardnertown Polo Club on Friday, Nov. 1. Now with a 4-2 record on the season, a win on Friday was crucial for the Big Red, who needed a win following a pair of losses at the 2019 Virginia Polo Invitational. Cornell trailed throughout the first half, but regrouped at the break, changed game strategy and came away with a win.
Men's polo action resumes for the men this weekend, when the Big Red meets Yale on Friday, Nov. 8 in the Oxley Equestrian Center at 7:00 p.m. Following the game against Yale, Cornell travels to Hamilton, Mass. on Saturday, Nov. 9 to face Harvard at 3:00 p.m. The Big Red saw success against both Yale and Harvard last year, defeating Yale, 21-5, and Harvard, 38-2.
