After a season-opening win over Villanova, the Big Red will look for its first 2-0 start to a season since 2016. To do so, Cornell will need to get past a Marist team that was picked to finish fourth in the preseason MAAC poll with three all-conference pick.

• The Red Foxes were chosen fourth in the MAAC preseason coaches' poll and have a trio of all-league picks in Delaney Galvin, Samantha Mehalick and Annie Sheehy.
• Mehalick is the school's career goal-scoring leader (186) and paces the team with five scores this season.
• Galvin is a three-year starter in goal who has posted 23 saves through two games.
• Jessica Wilkinson, a 2008 Marist graduate in her 10th season at her alma mater, is the school's all-time winningest head coach.
