ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's polo team won of a pair of games on Friday, Jan. 31, defeating Yale on the road by a final score of 22-7, while defeating Gardnertown Polo Club, 20-11, in the Oxley Equestrian Center. It was a day of split squads for men's polo, who sent one team on the road to Yale, while the rest stayed home to face Gardnertown.
With a pair of wins on Friday, Cornell improves its season record to 10-4 overall heading into the final stretch of the season. The team has just four games remaining prior to the Northeast Regional Championships on Friday, March 13.
The Big Red is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 8 for a 7 p.m. game against the New York City Polo Club in Oxley.
