• Cornell is ranked 17th nationally in the latest NWCA Division I Wrestling Coaches Poll released on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
• Cornell seeks its 18th consecutive Ivy League title this weekend against Penn and Princeton. It's the longest title streak in any sport in conference history.

Rob Koll is in his 27th season at Cornell (314-99-5, .757; 124-8-1 Ivy, .936)
• He is the David R. Dunlop '59 Head Coach of Wrestling at Cornell
• The all-time winningest wrestling coach in program history, Koll has guided the Big Red to 17 straight Ivy League titles (20 overall), 11 EIWA crowns and eight top five NCAA team finishes, including second twice (2010, 2011)
• He was the 2005 NWCA Division I Coach of the Year and the Dan Gable Coach of the Year
• His wrestlers have won 16 national titles with 71 All-Americans and 64 individual EIWA champions.
ABOUT PENN
• Penn is 5-4 this season and are winners of four consecutive duals. The Quakers have defeated Harvard, Brown, Long Island and Binghamton over the last few weeks, bolstering their record.
• Penn's last loss came against Army, 27-9, on Jan. 17.
• Penn placed 12th of 35 teams at the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships in December scoring 47 team points.
• Penn has three wrestlers ranked by FloWrestling (Michael Colaiocco, Doug Zapf, Anthony Artalona)
• Colaiocco is the top-ranked wrestler in the Penn lineup, ranking #8 at 125 pounds on FloWrestling with a 15-5 record. He owns wins over former NCAA qualifiers, Drew Hildebrandt, Bryce West and Devin Schroder.
• Artalona ranks #13 at 157 pounds via FloWrestling and owns a 14-6 record this season. He reached the NCAA round of 12 last season as a true freshman.
• Zapf is the third and final ranked opponent at Penn, coming in at #19 at 141 pounds via FloWrestling. He's the team leader in wins with 20.
• Also with winning records on the season in Penn's probable lineup at Carmen Ferrante (13-9), Lucas Revano (12-10), Cole Urbas (14-8) and Ben Goldin (12-9). Ferrante was an NCAA qualifier last season at 125 pounds.
ABOUT #16 PRINCETON
• Princeton is 4-4 in duals this season with wins over Brown, Harvard, Rider and Lehigh. All of Princeton's losses have come against ranked opponents (Oklahoma State, Iowa, NC State, North Carolina).
• Princeton opened Ivy League action on Jan. 31-Feb. 1 defeating Harvard (27-12) and Brown (29-10).
• Princeton, along with Penn, will wrestle Columbia prior to facing Cornell.
• The Tigers placed 5th of 35 teams at the Ken Kraft Midlands Championships, scoring 84.5 team points. 125-pounder Patrick Glory was the Midlands champion, Princeton's third Midlands champ in two years.
• Princeton has three highly-ranked wrestlers in its lineup in Patrick Glory, Quincy Monday and Pat Brucki.
• Patrick Glory is ranked #3 at 125 pounds by FloWrestling and is undefeated at 15-0. Glory owns wins over some of the best in the country in Oklahoma State's Nick Piccininni and Lehigh's Brandon Paetzell. He placed sixth at the NCAA Championships in 2019.
• Monday is ranked #4 at 157 pounds by FloWrestling and owns a 17-3 record this season. A national qualifier in 2019, Monday has defeated the likes of Kendall Coleman, Jesse Dellavecchia, Kaleb Young and Josh Humphreys.
• Brucki is the final ranked wrestler in the Princeton lineup, coming at #3 at 197 pounds by FloWrestling. A two-time NCAA qualifier, Brucki placed fourth in Pittsburgh last season to earn the first All-American honor of his career. Brucki is 14-2 for the season overall, with top wins against Jacob Warner and Dakota Geer.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. PENN/PRINCETON
• The Big Red holds an 86-21-1 advantage in the all-time series against Penn, dating back to the 1907-08 season. Cornell has won 17 straight against Penn, with the last loss in the series coming on Feb. 2, 2002. Dating back to this loss in 2002, Cornell has won 91 consecutive Ivy League duals.
• Cornell is 57-15 all-time against Princeton in a series dating back to the 1907-08 season. The Big Red has won the last 33 meetings against the Tigers, with the last Princeton victory occurring on Feb. 15, 1986 by a score of 21-19.
LAST TIME VS. PENN/PRINCETON
• Cornell defeated Penn in Ithaca last season, besting the Quakers by a final score of 40-3. The Big Red earned victories at 9-of-10 weights with six wins coming alongside bonus points.

• Cornell didn't wrestle a dual meet last week, but did send three wrestlers to the Edinboro Open (

• Venosa placed third in the tournamnet while Berreyesa took fourth. Berreyesa earned three wins by fall en route to a 3-1 record, while Venosa went 4-1 with a fall and two decisions.
ON THE HUNT
• Cornell junior 149-pounder
Hunter Richard entered the FloWrestling rankings for the first time in his career this week, checking in at #25.
• Richard is turning in some of the best performances of his career as of late, winning his last six matches and winning four of those six with bonus points.
• He becomes the sixth different Big Red wrestler to enter the rankings this season (

Chas Tucker is 9-0 against ranked (by FloWrestling) opponents this season.
• Tucker owns ranked wins over Jarrett Trombley (NC State), Montorie Bridges (Wyoming) x2, Collin Gerardi (Virginia Tech) x2, Garrett Pepple (Michigan State), Allan Hart (Missouri), Nick Farro (Lehigh) and Sammy Alvarez (Rutgers).
• Tucker's 3-2 victory over Sammy Alvarez snapped a streak of nine-straight wins by the Scarlet Knights freshman.
• With five duals remaining, Tucker isn't currently projected to face another ranked wrestler until the EIWA Tournament.
THE ASSASSIN, BEN DARMSTADT
• Despite having not wrestled an opponent since Jan. 11, Cornell sophomore 197-pounder,
Ben Darmstadt, is currently tied for the NCAA Division lead in wins by fall with 11 in the span of 20:09. Darmstadt is tied with Central Michigan heavyweight Matt Stencel and Northern Iowa 125-pounder Jacob Schwarm.
• Darmstadt makes his much anticipated return to the Cornell lineup this weekend, slotted in as the projected starter at 197 pounds.

• Cornell has placed in the top 10 at the NCAA championships in 15 of the last 17 seasons following the first top 10 season of the
Rob Koll era (2002-03).
• The Big Red has crowned at least one EIWA champion in each of the last 18 seasons and in 28 of the last 29 years.
