Xavier Martinez ran in a three-yard touchdown and that was all it took to pass Chestnut Hill, 6-0, in wash-out conditions Friday night.
The Big Red scored at the 5:53 mark of the opening quarter and held on for the rest of the muddy contest with 210 yards of total offense .
While
Xavier Martinez found himself in the score column, it was
Jacob Wynkoop who led the Big Red— rushing for 186 yards. Martinez threw for just one completion in the win.
On defense,
Will Anderson totaled 10 tackles (2 for loss, 6 yards) and
Billy Turner tallied eight with eighth yards for loss.
Cornell plays its final game of the season Nov. 5 when it hosts Army at Schoellkopf Field.
