ITHACA, N.Y. - It might be one day later than what everyone would have hoped for, but the Cornell women's basketball team will open its 2021-22 season against Colgate tonight at Newman Arena in Ithaca, N.Y. The contest is slated for a 7:30 p.m. tip.

The contest that was originally scheduled for yesterday was postponed out of caution due to an ongoing safety concern nearby the Cornell campus that has now been resolved. The game will still be broadcasted on ESPN+.
