ITHACA, N.Y. -- When Cornell and Colgate renew their Central New York gridiron rivalry for the 102nd time this fall, they'll do it under the lights on Friday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at Schoellkopf Field. It will be the second Friday evening game scheduled for the Big Red this season, as its home contest vs. Princeton is slated for Oct. 29 on ESPNU.
Of the 101 previous meetings between the programs, only three games been played on a day other than Saturday (1900, 1904 and 2015). Cornell won the first two times with Wednesday afternoon shutouts (16-0 and 17-0), before the Raiders won an exciting 28-21 contest on Schoellkopf in 2015 on a Friday evening.
The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
