Women's Lacrosse Adds 10 Newcomers To Class of 2025

ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell women's lacrosse team will welcome 10 newcomers for the upcoming 2022 campaign. The group will attempt to help head coach Jenny Graap's squad earn the program's third Ivy League regular season title and qualify for the conference tournament for the ninth time in the last 10 seasons this coming spring.
 

Emma Calcagni

Fr. * M * 5-8 * Honeoye Falls, N.Y. (Honeoye Falls-Lima HS)
• Earned all-state honors as a junior at Honeoye Falls-Lima HS.
• Captured all-league and all-county accolades as a junior and senior.
• Member of four sectional championship teams with two making state finals and one reaching the state semifinals.
• Was a two-time all-county selection and served as captain as a senior.
 

Mia DiChiara

Fr. * M * 5-8 * Cross River, N.Y. (John Jay HS)
• DiChiara was a three-time all-league selection as a midfielder at John Jay HS.
• Was a 2021 U.S. Lacrosse Scholastic All-American.
• Helped team to a pair of league titles, one trip to the state semifinals and a state runner-up finish.
• Academic all-state pick as a freshman and sophomore.
• Earned the state's Sportsmanship Award at the state championships in 2019 after scoring 40 goals with 20 assists and added 28 draw controls, 38 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers.
• Helped the team to a league and sectional title as a senior.
• Also played four seasons of varsity soccer, earning all-conference accolades twice.
• Part of four league championship squads, including a 2018 team that won a sectional title and made the regional finals.
 

Alexa Donahoe

Fr. * M * 5-8 * White Plains, N.Y. (White Plains HS)
• Donahoe earned U.S. Lacrosse All-America honors as a senior midfielder at White Plains HS.
• Earned all-league and all-section honors in each of her final two years.
• She also competed in field hockey and basketball, lettering a total of six times.
• Was a two-time all-state pick in field hockey, earning all-league, all-second and all-elite honors as well.
• Earned scholar-athlete awards each year in high school.
 

Kylie Gelabert

Fr. * M * 5-9 * Victor, N.Y. (Victor HS)
• Gelabert was a two-time all-league and all-area selection as a midfielder at Victor HS.
• Captured Under Armour and U.S. Lacrosse All-America honors as a senior.
• Named to the sectional's all-tournament team.
• Earned team MVP honors.
• Under Armour 150 selection and Empire Finish Line Recruiting Showcase MVP.
• Served as three-year varsity captain.
• Also lettered twice in soccer.
 

Ellie Horner

Fr. * GK * 5-6 * Richmond, Va. (St. Catherine's School)
• Horner was a two-time all-state goalkeeper at St. Catherine's School.
• Earned first-team all-state accolades as a senior after being picked to the second team as a sophomore.
• League Player of the Year as a senior.
• Three-time first-team all-conference and all-metro pick.
• Named team MVP in 2019.
• Part of two conference championship squads.
• Five-year member of the varsity team.
• Richmond Times Dispatch Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the St. Catherine's Outstanding Senior Athlete of the Year in 2021.
• Also starred in field hockey and track and field.
• Was first-team all-state in field hockey, earning a spot at the state championships and capturing a league title.
• Won three state titles in indoor track, two as part of the 4x400 relay team and another in the 4x200.
• Helped team to a pair of indoor track state team championships.
 

Margo Miller

Fr. * A/M * 5-6 * Evergreen, Colo. (Evergreen Senior HS)
• Was a first-team all-state and U.S. Lacrosse All-American as a sophomore at Evergreen Senior HS.
• Captured league Player of the Year accolades as a senior while also being named first-team all-conference.
• Selected as a Wendy's High School Heisman nominee as a senior.
• Chosen for the Adrenaline Lacrosse All-America team twice.
• Scored 80 goals en route to first-team all-conference and team MVP honors in 2019.
• Was a second-team all-conference pick and named team MVP as a freshman.
• Two-year team captain.
• U.S. Lacrosse Scholastic All-American in her final season.
 

Alessia Packard

Fr. * D * 5-8 * Darien, Conn. (Greenwich Academy)
• Packard was a field hockey and lacrosse star at Greenwich Academy.
• Was a three-year starter on the defense in lacrosse, helping the team to No. 1 in New England and top 10 national ranking by Inside Lacrosse.
• Part of two league championships squads in field hockey, including the 2017 New England champions.
• Named to the NFHCA High School National Academic squad in 2019.
 

Annie Parker

Fr. * M/A * 5-7 * Atlanta, Ga. (Holy Innocents' Episcopal School)
• Parker was team MVP at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School.
• Scored more than 200 career goals
• She was a four-year varsity letter winner while playing both midfield and attack.
• Missed her junior season due to injury.
 

Lauren Riker

Fr. * A * 5-4 * Selkirk, N.Y. (Bethlehem Central HS)
• Riker earned U.S. Lacrosse All-America honors at Bethlehem Central HS
• Was an all-section honoree as a sophomore.
• Named first-team all-league in her final campaign.
• Helped her team to sectional and regional titles in 2019, advancing to the state semifinals.
• Also won a sectional title as a senior in 2021.
• She was elected team captain as a senior.
 

Josie Vogel

Fr. * M * 5-7 * Chestnut Hill, Mass. (Milton Academy)
• Riker earned U.S. Lacrosse All-America honors at Bethlehem Central HS
• Was an all-section honoree as a sophomore.
• Named first-team all-league in her final campaign.
• Helped her team to sectional and regional titles in 2019, advancing to the state semifinals.
• Also won a sectional title as a senior in 2021.
• She was elected team captain as a senior.
