ITHACA, N.Y. – The Cornell men's tennis team improved to 4-0 in dual matches with a doubleheader sweep of Penn State and St. Bonaventure on Sunday at Reis Tennis Center.
 
Senior captain Evan Bynoe clinched the 4-3 victory over the Nittany Lions in the day's first match, winning in straight sets at #4 singles. Penn State (0-2) started off by capturing the doubles point despite a Cornell victory at the #1 spot by senior Alafia Ayeni and junior Vladislav Melnic.
 
All six singles matches were decided in straight sets, with the Big Red winning in each of the top four spots to improve to 29-13 all-time against Penn State.
 
The night concluded with a 7-0 sweep of St. Bonaventure, keeping Cornell undefeated in 14 all-time matches against the Bonnies.
