Binghamton opened the scoring with a deep three, but two
Ania McNicholas free throws got the Big Red on the board. The Bearcats stretched their lead to 7-2 before the Big Red found a rhythm. Cornell reentered the scoring column with a three ball from Mulroy, sparking two back-to-back layups by Ingram and McNicholas, earning a Big Red lead 9-7. Cornell held its lead to close the quarter 13-11.
The second opened all Big Red, with Cornell opening on a 6-2 run that sparked a Binghamton timeout. The break did not shake the red, who extended the run with a 3-0. stretch before Binghamton could find the basket again. The Bearcats battled to bring the Red lead to just two, but Cornell shut out its opponent for the remaining 2:24 of play, while expanding is lead to six. at 31-25. Ingram had tallied 11 points in the first half alone.
The third opened with a quick 4-0 Binghamton run, but Cornell maintained at least a two point lead over the Bearcats, while scoring 20 points in the quarter.
The fourth quarter saw just seven Bearcat points, while the Big Red tallied 20 for the first 40-point quarter since January 29, 2022 when Cornell tallied 41 against Brown.
Lexi Green had her first appearance of the season to close out the game for the Big Red.
