ECAC Top-10 Battle Ends in Tie Between #10 Big Red, #3 Yale

ITHACA N.Y. - #10 Women's ice hockey force overtime with three unanswered goals against #3 Yale in a ECAC top-10 battle.

Anna Bargman opened up the scoring for the Bulldogs, with a goal six minutes into the contest.

The Big Red wasted no time, responding with a goal from sophomore forward Lily Delianedis in just 26 seconds to knot the game at 1-1.

Jordan Ray and Charlotte Welch scored the next two goals for the Bulldogs, giving Yale the 3-1 lead to close the opening period.

Claire Dalton's Yale goal pushed the Bulldogs out to a three-goal lead midway through the second period.

The Big Red netted three unanswered goals in the final two periods to force overtime, with two coming from sophomore forward Gabbie Rudd and one from junior forward Izzy Daniel.

Both teams failed to notch a point in the extra period, resulting in a 4-4 tie.

The Big Red return to ice on Saturday Dec. 3, as they visit Providence, R.I. to take on the Brown Bears. Game action will be broadcast on ESPN+.
