ITHACA, N.Y. — The Cornell women's squash team split its final regular-season matches over the weekend at Belkin International Squash Courts, following up Saturday's 6-3 loss to Drexel with a 9-0 decision over St. Lawrence on Sunday.
Sivasangari Subramaniam continued her perfect run through the CSA season with a pair of comfortable three-game victories. That improves the two-time All-American to 12-0 on the year — all from the #1 position.
Selena Georgieva and
Lily Zelov accounted for the Big Red's other victories against sixth-ranked Drexel (10-3).
Against 20th-ranked St. Lawrence (11-7), Cornell dominated to the tune of not yielding any more than eight points in any given game.
Charlotte Gillis and Tessa Walden both won in their first appearances in collegiate scoring mathces.
The split leaves Cornell (4-8) seemingly aligned to hold steady at its national ranking of ninth heading into the CSA National Championships, though those divisions and seedings will be finalized in the coming days.
