PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Cornell women's squash team concluded its 2025-26 season with a 6-3 loss to Virginia in the second consolation final on day three of the CSA national championships. The Big Red finished its season with an 8-9 record.
Cornell picked up wins at No. 1, with Yee Xin Ying outlasting Charlotte Pastel by scores of 11-3, 11-9, 13-11, as well as with Alysa Ali at No. 3 and No. 9 with Lamees Shalaby. Ali pulled out a marathon second set for a 12-10, 18-16, 11-9 triumph over Maria Min and Shalaby captured an 11-4, 12-10, 11-4 victory over Anna Shumway.
The match also served as the final collegiate contests for seniors Ali and Aishwarya Khubchandani, who played No. 2 throughout the season for the Big Red.
