ITHACA, N.Y. -- Seniors Leone Farquharson (long jump) and Beatrice Juskeviciute (pentathlon) will compete at the 2022 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship on Friday, March 11 at the Birmingham CrossPlex In Birmigham, Ala. Both are already guaranteed All-America honors - the top eight earn first-team and 9-16 will be granted second-team status - with the event winner being crowned NCAA champion. 

Farquharson will compete in the long jump on Friday at 8:00 p.m. ET, while the pentathlon will begin at 11:20 a.m. with the 60 hurdles and run throughout the day, ending with the 800 meters at 4:40 p.m. The Big Red will have two of the four Ivy League women to earn a spot at the NCAA championships, joining Izzy Goudros of Harvard in the pentathlon and Kayley DeLay of Yale in the 5,000 meters.

Farquharson has the 15th-best mark in the field entering the championship, as the Ivy League champion has leaped a best of 6.35 meters, tied with Titiana Marsh of Georgia. Florida's Jasmine Moore brings a national-best 6.75 meter jump into the championship.

The Cornell and Heptagonal meet record holder in the pentathlon, Juskeviciute has the eighth-best mark in the country with a best of 4,156 points. Anna Hall of Florida's 4,618 points tops the field entering Friday's competition and has her as the No. 1 seed. Juskeviciute is a four-time All-American, including twice now in the pentathlon, and a four-time Heps champion, with three titles in the indoor event.
