SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Megan Eno took sixth in epee at the 2022 NCAA Championships on Friday afternoon at Notre Dame's Joyce Center and Purcell Pavilion to earn her third career All-America honor and lead the women to ninth place in the overall standings. Eno was one of five Big Red qualifiers at nationals.

Eno was sixth after posting a 14-9 record in her 23 matches against the nation's top fencers, finishing just two wins out of competing in the final four. She ended a +3 in touch indicators in her 23 matches. The senior was an honorable mention All-American in both 2019 and 2020.

Gabrielle Hill took 24th in epee with six wins, including a victory over top four finisher Kateryna Chorniy of Penn State.

The Big Red also had a top 20 finisher in foil with Ashersah Horsley winning seven matches to take 19th. Teammate Renata Chusid was 22nd with five wins. In saber, Esther Bentolila placed 22nd with five wins, as the 2019 second-team All-American closed out her career.
