HANOVER, N.H. -- The Cornell women's tennis team rallied from a 3-2 deficit with consecutive three set victories to claim a 4-3 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon. Cornell upped its record to 6-8 (2-0 Ivy) after its second straight 4-3 road win to begin conference play. The Big Green fell to 6-9 (0-2 Ivy) with the loss.

Dartmouth led 1-0 after picking up the doubles point despite a victory at No. 1 by Lauren Stein and Jenny Wong, 6-2. Dartmouth picked up a win at No. 2 to even the slate, but the home team gained a 1-0 lead after claiming a tiebreaker victory at No. 3.

The teams split the first four singles matches that finished, including Lan Mi's 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles. With No, 3 and No. 6 singles still to be finished, Lauren Stein closed out the third set 6-1, completing a rally after dropping the first 7-5. Wong then clinched the victory at No. 6 with her 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 triumph.

The Big Red returns to action at Harvard on Sunday, April 10 at 1 p.m. The match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
