ITHACA, N.Y - Cornell women's track and field competed at the Southern Tier Invite for it's first race competition of the new year. The Big Red registered first-place wins in every event they contested.
Jada Smith (60m and 200m),
Reyne Rodrigues (400m),
Amanda Stone (500m), Izzy McFarlane (1000m),
Sarah Roffman (mile),
Ama Boham (60m hurdles),
Margaux Rawson (high jump),
Victoria Atkinson (pole vault),
Skyy Johnson (long jump),
Tia Taylor (triple jump),
Noelle Elkinton (shot put), and
Phoebe Price-Roberts (weight throw) were all among first place finishers in their respective events.
Delaney Benedict,
Nia Robinson,
Glenn Parker, and
Reyne Rodrigues was the Big Red group that took first place in the 4x400.
Roffman's first place win in the mile was her personal best time at 5:04.97.
Quincy Hansen registered her PR in the pole vault with a mark of 3.71m. Maddie Packer also notched her personal best in the high jump with a mark of 1.64m.

The
Hokie Invitational (Blacksburg, VA) and Upstate Challenge (Ithaca N.Y.) will feature Cornell track and field athletes. The Big Red look to ride the momentum of their early season success.
