CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard forward Sean Farrell recorded assists on four of the six goals scored by No. 10-ranked Harvard in the Crimson's 6-2 victory over No. 11-ranked Cornell at a sold-out Bright-Landry Hockey Center on Saturday night.
Farrell assisted on the Crimson's first four goals of the night – all of which came in succession. Matthew Coronato scored twice, and Alex Laferriere, Henry Thrun, and John Farinacci each recorded a goal and an assist for Harvard (15-5-1, 13-3-0 ECAC), who improved to 9-0-0 at home this season.

Ondrej Psenicka scored for Cornell (13-7-1, 10-4-0 ECAC) in the setback.
Mitchell Gibson made 31 saves for the Crimson, while sophomore
Ian Shane stopped 23 shots between the pipes for the Big Red.
How It Happened
Psenicka redirected a shot from the point by senior defenseman
Travis Mitchell to give Cornell a 1-0 lead at the 12:25 mark of the opening period. Fellow senior
Jack Malone was also credited with a helper on the marker.
Harvard scored four unanswered goals to leap out to a 4-1 lead over its rival. Coronato tied the game with a redirection in the slot off a shot by Farrell from the left point two minutes after Psenicka's marker.
Thrun, Coronato, and Farinacci scored for the Crimson in the first 6:49 of the second period to increase its lead. Farinacci's tally came while on the power play.
Malinski cut into the Crimson's lead with a goal at the 13:09 mark of the middle stanza. Sophomore
Jack O'Leary had the lone assist.
The goal by Malinski extended his point streak to eight games, which ties a Cornell record under head coach
Mike Schafer '86, joining Mark McRae in 2002-03 and Patrick McCarron in 2016-17.
Laferriere gave Harvard a three-goal cushion again just past the halfway point of the third period when his wrist shot from the slot ringed off the crossbar and went directly into the back of the net.
Ryan Siedem solidified the victory for Harvard with a 185-foot empty-net goal.
Game Notes
• Saturday was the 161st all-time meeting between the two bitter Ivy League rivals. Cornell is now 79-69-13 against Harvard, who is unbeaten in its last five against the Big Red (3-0-2).
• Cornell was held without a power-play goal, snapping the program's seven-game streak with a power-play goal. The Big Red went 0-for-3 with the man advantage on Saturday.

Gabriel Seger each recorded 10-plus faceoff wins on Saturday. Seger won a game-high 15 faceoff draws, while Andreev chipped in 11. Cornell had a 37-25 advantage in faceoffs.
Looking Ahead
Cornell returns to Lynah Rink next weekend when the Big Red welcomes RPI and Union to begin a three-game homestand on East Hill. Puck drop for both contests is slated for 7 p.m. Game action will be broadcast on ESPN+, as well as WHCU (870 AM, 97.7 FM).
