ITHACA, N.Y. — The Army West Point sprint football team (4-0) held Cornell (0-3) scoreless while remaining unbeaten Friday at Schoellkopf Field, beating the Big Red 63-0 in its 12th consecutive win in the series.

Quarterback Mikal Willeke paced the Black Knights, completing 10 of his 13 passes for 201 yards with two scores. Two other Army quarterbacks — Kyle West and Seth Brown — also threw two touchdown passes.

The Black Knights scored on seven of their first eight possessions en route to a 49-0 halftime lead. They added two more scores in the second half and finished the contest with more than 400 yards passing and more than 200 yards rushing.

Henry Beck had two receiving touchdowns, while Cason Mackie, Ryan Connors, Bryson Werntz and Ben Deloit each had one. Beck, Seth Brown and Arthur Lavalais rushed for one touchdown apiece.

Cornell defensive backs Ian Applegate and Alexei DiDonato set career highs in tackles with 11 and eight, respectively. Defensive lineman Zach Glenn recorded his first career sack, and linebacker Billy Turner recorded two tackles for a loss. He leads Cornell with three on the season.

The Big Red's defense forced one turnover in the contest, as safety Drew Altemose forced and recovered a fumble. He finished the night with four tackles.
