ITHACA, N.Y. - The Cornell men's soccer team fell 2-0 to the Yale Bulldogs on senior night from Berman Field. The Big Red dropped to 8-4-2, while Yale moved to 8-5-2.
Both teams stood up defensively on the back-lines in the opening half, allowing just two shots on goal between the squads. The Bulldogs got on the board 27 minutes into game when Max Rogers found the back of the net to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead.
The second-half was more of the same, as both teams kept their oppositions shots on goal to a minimum.
Yale tacked on another critical goal in the 84th-minute to seal an impressive victory against Cornell.
The Big Red led in the shots category, but was unable to find the back of the net on any of it's attempts. Sophomore goaltender
Ryan Friedberg finished the night with a pair of saves.
"It was a tough loss on senior night, but we can't have any complaints. Yale was better than us today",

The Cornell men's soccer team will close out the regular season with a trip to New York City to take on Columbia. A Big Red victory against the Lions will clinch a spot in the the first annual Ivy League soccer tournament.
