PHILADELPHIA -- The Cornell men's tennis team went undefeated in all of its matches on day two of the ITA Northeast Regionals, hosted by Penn.

Cornell shined in the singles bracket, as five Big Red athletes competed in the round of 64. Samuel Paquette opened up the morning against SUNY Buffalo's Theodoris Mitsakos. Despite finishing his doubles match just before, Paquette did not miss a beat, defeating Mitsakos in straight sets (6-3, 6-1) for his fourth singles win of the fall. Muhammad Dossani went next in the 11:30 a.m. window for the red and white with a matchup against St. Bonaventure's Connor Turner. Dossani struggled in the opening set, falling 2-6. But the senior turned it on to win the second set (6-1) and the match after Turner withdrew before the start of the decisive third. Freshman Felipe Pinzon rounded out morning action for Cornell by knocking out Niagara's Tanner Bedard (7-6 (7-3), 7-5). 

The red and white was not done winning in the afternoon either, as both sophomore Aman Sharma and junior Bradley Paliska picked up wins over St. Bonaventure's Rasmus Egehus (6-0, 6-2) and Long Island's Alessandro DAnna (6-3, 7-5) to move on to the round of 32.

The Big Red's lone doubles team left in the tournament kept rolling, with Samuel Paquette and Aman Sharma moving into the quarterfinals with an 8-6 win over Princeton's Landon Ardila and Evan Wen. 

Play resumes from Philadelphia on Sunday as Paquette and Sharma begin their quest for the semifinals in doubles at 9:00 a.m., with singles action to follow starting at 11:30 a.m.
